On Friday 08/10/2021, UCL Team B, composing of Ioanna Pierou, Carla Herrero Cornejo, Kasper Hansen and myself have won the national round of the 2021 Design Challenge organized by the IMechE (Institute of Mechanical Engineers) in the second year class. This is a result of months of work, determination and no will to compromise. The success of our team is thanks to a very unique skill-set that each member brought to the project.
“The Design Challenge gives first and second year undergraduates a taste of ‘real world’ engineering, challenging them to design, create, present and run a device to a strict technical specification.” – IMechE
